I have a new problem and not sure when it began. But elementor is part of the problem.

I updated my site and plugins as I usually do and notice that now when I go into any page or post created using the Elementor plugin. If I try to add library elements to a page via templates the library doesn’t load. Blocks, Pages and My Templates do not load as they did in the past and I can add any of my standard save templates to my pages or post.

I’ve tried everything I know to do. Removing the plugin then reinstalling, deactivated all plugins except the elementor plugin, I’ve changed themes thinking that would fix it. I absolutely cannot find a solution to this problem. I’ve changed things in php and still nothing.

Anytime I click on the elementor plugin menu item (Home) I get a critical error page. When selecting the tools menu items the tabs do not switch.

I’m stuck without a solution and can’t make heads or tales of the log I’m posting below. Please help me with this someone!

Hi,

Kindly follow the given steps and clear the Elementor cache and transients.

Go to Elementor → Tools → General, and click:
“Regenerate CSS & Data”
“Sync Library”
“Clear Cache”

Please try reinstalling the previous version of Elementor and deactivating any other plugins. If the issue persists, kindly share the WP login details along with the site URL so we can investigate further.

I’ve tried everything you suggested a second time even though I’ve already done it. When I click the elementor link in the wordpress menu item is just goes to a white page with a critical error and no solutions. When I click the home link under the elementor menu I get the same page. I can click on all other menu items under the Elementor plugin menu items without getting a critical error page.

I don’t know what else to do and do not know where it started but I can’t edit my pages or post until this is working properly. Because the blocks, pages and my templates won’t load in the elementor editor

Where do I send the login details?

I found the problem and it turns out that my hosting service prevents outgoing connections to new IPs from plugins and things of that nature. Which is a plus to prevent bad actors trying to use their plugins to hack wordpress websites.

Turns out that Elementor did an IP change in their updates or wherever their update was coming from so my host blocked the IP from outgoing connect to retrieve the library files. So now I can see my templates, pages and blocks in the editor.

I love my hosting company because they do a better job protecting their customers websites from “DDoS attacks” and other bad actors. I’ve been with them for now 10 years and don’t look like I will ever change hosting companies unless God forbid this one disappears or goes out of business.
