I’ve set nav menu widgets to be used in the footer columns. And they are being displayed under a bullet list.
How can I display arrows instead of bullets in footer section? This is being displayed, which I don’t want:
.Home
.Service
I want this instead:
>Home
>Service
Should I go to Appearance > Customise > custom css? If yes, what should be the input.
Or should I add a CSS code inside theme editor? If yes, what should be the input?
Hi
we are using Fundraiser and I am using a widget for the top left bar (this is for facebook etc) I am using an image with a custom link that I want to open in a new tab. The problem is that when I add the suffix to the link it is not saving the quote marks (” “) and so generating a page 404 error. There is no ‘screen option’ on the widget page so I am stuck on how to do this. The web address is http://www.tlctest.org.uk
The facebook link for instance currently is https://www.facebook.com/TheLauraCentre/ so to get it to open in a new tab I am making it https://www.facebook.com/TheLauraCentre/target=”_blank” but, as I say, when I click #save’ the quotes disappear.
I have a page list sidebar on my home page that I cannot remove. I did not add it and it is not part of the theme the page is set to full width and the sidebar widget is disabled. Im wondering how I can remove it. The sidebar is new it popped up after a simple style edit and cannot be removed even by reverting the style to its previous settings. In the mobile version it is not a sidebar but a page list above the footer.
Hi Chris
Thanks for getting back to me but this does not help. I know how to edit sections but I cannot find, for instance, the shortcode list. I can add an Elementor Short Code widget but then I cannot find the shortcode to put into it. As mentioned this is just an example. The information in the help files does not match what I see on screen so I am asking if there are other help files specifically for this theme.
Regards
Tony
1) On Mobile, the hamburger menu in the header disappeared.
2) On Desktop (using Firefox), the 4 column design of the footer broke and the content is displayed repositioned.
3) On Desktop (using Firefox), the content blocks on the homepage are dislayed in a column instead of in a row / on a line and the design of all blocks is broken.
4) On Mobile, the categories on the shop page (https://p35.c50.myftpupload.com/shop) are displayed on the bottom of the page below the listed products instead of top of page.
5) On Desktop, the green banner on top of the shop page (https://p35.c50.myftpupload.com/shop) is displayed cut left and right rather than displayed full width as on the other pages.
6) What additionally raised my attention, that the if you set a default template for a page it does not work or take the set template. And the widget position of an item is not repected and applied.
For instance: On the shop page (https://p35.c50.myftpupload.com/shop) the left sidebar is not displayed any longer.
Unfortuantely, my hoster GoDaddy does not provide a backup for the stage environment, so you are my last chance to repair it. I could not reverse my changes or fix it myself.
Thanks for anyone who can look into it and help me on this one.
OK–while nothing in the Widgets section actually showed what was appearing as content in the Footer under Widgets, I rebuilt the Footer Widget 1 and Widget 2 areas by adding new widgets.
I did the same for the Contact page so that I could update the address block.
THE ONLY REMAINING ISSUE:
I cannot update the map on the Contact page that does not appear editable on the page, nor does it appear to have a widget associated with it. The map needs to reflect the current address:
To be clear, the specific areas I need to edit are Footer Widget 1 (address info) and Footer Widget 2 (map). I am in the Footer Widget 1 right now and there is nothing available to me to edit. I need to change the address to:
2353 NE Conners Avenue
Bend, OR 97701
The Google Map on Widget 2 then needs to reflect this location change.
I am having a number of issues with my website Colleen’s Martial Art Corner. I cannot add any Custom HTML codes in my widget area of my website. I do not have a sitemap; I haven’t had one inawhile. My home page about section read more button has the link in it to redirect to my about page, but yet when you click on the read more button, it redirects to the home page. My sharing plugin will not work, and I do not know if it has to do with my homepage, because the support to my sharing plug-in says it is working fine, yet the numbers have not changed in over six months. Also, when you click on a blog post in full post mode, there is no header image. How do I get the header image back, because at one point I did have one there? Can someone please fix my homepage and look at what is going on with it? I will greatly appreciate it very much!
