    Hi Brad,

I just sent a message, as per your instructions.

While checking my wordpress I ask you kindly to have a look also at these problems:

I already have the upper menu, but there it seems I can only add pages and not widgets. Is that true?

Concerning the CSS code you gave me for the “we are moving expert” writing, after adding this the writing goes up and not down!

Last, for the “our services” section, I’m not able to change the color of the font. I’d like to have it in black. If not possible, I would like to have my picture “covered”
    as yours in the example
    http://sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/movers_documentation/assets/img/screenshot-2-2.jpg

And of course my request of adding the search widget in the same section of the logo, at the right and under the email adress.

    Thanks. Regards
    Simona

    1) How do I get rid of the Google Plus icon in the footer?
    2) How do I get a Facebook icon in the footer that will link to my FB page – putting a text widget in the footer only results in a full-text hyperlink

I am having so many issues (in addition to those mentioned above) with the Pro version that I am having to stay with the lite version.

    Thanks,
    J

    Hi Robert,

    1) Kindly go to Appearance>>Widget and drag and drop text widget where you want to show widget. You have to add your code or content in that text widget.

    2) Footer is widgetized and all the footer columns are in a widget. Go to Appearance>>Widget you will find all the footer widgets there.

    Regards,
    Brad

My original thread seems to have disappeared, though I can still find the post where I asked a previous question.

    1. I have a client who wants testimonials in a right sidebar, rotating. There doesn’t seem to be a widget to drag there, and enabling the sidebar doesn’t seem to put it in the correct spot, either.

    2. The customization panel on the left side doesn’t display properly. I either have to scroll WAY down to see options, or the options don’t display properly at all. This makes it difficult – in some cases impossible – to make changes to the site. With other themes on other sites of mine, this panel displays just fine.

I’m desperate for help on two things and I’m getting some kind of run-around. I was told to email my credentials in this very forum. Then, I got an email telling me that instead, I should post in the forum. Help? BTW, if you want me to contact you directly about these issues, supply me with a direct email address – I won’t send login credentials through a web form. I refuse. And I didn’t send them the last time.

Client now wants rotating testimonials in right-hand sidebar and I can not find a way to add it from Appearance ->widgets or customizing. BTW, the customizing menus are completely messed up. I have to scroll all the way down to see options, and that’s on the ones that work. Can you help with both issues? Thanks.

    Hi,

I have many different problems to solve with the theme. My website is http://www.dismability.it/wordpress:

    1. The header menu is not properly positioned. As you can see, it is smaller then the pictures of the homepage slider. Then the “get a quote” writing is overlapping the other writings. Most important thing, the home page menu seems to be a picture and not a menu, so you can’t click on it.

    2. How can I take the main menu away from the top and the bottom of the home page?

    3. The writing inside the slider pictures (your “we are moving experts”) is positioned too high. Is it possible to move it down? And is it possible to change colors (background color) and size?

    4. Phone number and email address (in the upper part of the header menu) can be moved a little on the right(maybe on the centre)? And can I put in the same area a widget for searching?

    5. The pictures in the slider have the same size. Even though, when moving from one to another (effect), they show in different size and this is very annoying. How can we solve this problem?

    6. “Our Services” section. Is it possible to change color of the font of the writings? How can we change the icons of this section?

    7. How can I customize the website pages, different from homepage? Every page contains on the right some widgets (comments, archives, categories, meta) and at the bottom the search and facebook widget.I’d like to take them away and customize some widget by myself.

    Many thanks for the support!
    Simona

    Thanks Dave,

I’ve managed to get the contact form working but how would I place my own testimonials like in the default template? I’ve added some sample testimonials but I don’t see a testimonial widget. Thoughts?

    Hi Resi,

TripAdvisor icon available on FontAwesome icon but the theme you are using is not updated with FontAwesome. So we need to update the FontAwesome on your site then you will be able to add TripAdvisor icon in that widget using shortcode like Facebook and others.

    Regards,
    Brad
